Negative Effects of Social Media Network OR ISOLATION? An excessive amount of SOCIALIZING ONLINE Dynamic Web office these days has made long range informal communication website is the most regular visit either, in fact the utilization of the web to mingle gives numerous advantages to the network. In any case, a lot of mingling on the web will prompt different cons, disconnection that happens will make different debacles clients dependent on the utilization of the web that is excessively long, different issues experienced will be looked by clients when they are a lot of mingling on the web. Among these are, they will be lost relational aptitude which it is something significant in the life of society. Psychological instability will likewise be looked by clients who utilize the web excessively. It made them be investing an excessive amount of energy before the PC or any contraptions. What's more, the innovation additionally forces social seclusion. This is on the grounds that the client won't be worried about connections in reality. They will lose their habits, discussion or even habits blending in reality. All things being equal, there is an excess of mingling on the web is additionally acceptable, such as exchanging on the web dah likewise use it toward instruction. All gatherings need to guarantee this can be destroyed in light of the fact that it will bring a great deal of unfavorable impacts than great. Presentation These days, web and PCs are significant throughout everyday life. Different techniques are utilized to speak with people. Before, everybody associated with one another by just sending a letter through the post. This procedure sets aside a long effort to make an impression on our companions. After the telephone was presented, numerous individuals utilize the telephone to speak with one another. With this, web designers about how to take care of issues that happen on the off chance that you need to associate with individuals who far away. Web use is different and among them is to look for data, including information, diversion, and to talk. The utilization of progressively complex advancements to help individuals to get data at a rate so quick. John Naisbitt (1990), predicts one of ten human propensities in the mid twenty-first century is data. Around 60,000 understudies matured somewhere in the range of 12 and 18 years in this nation followed go through in any event four hours daily riding the web, particularly person to person communication webpage Facebook (FB), Twitter, Instagram and some more. Dependent on the web, particularly FB is causing the understudies regularly cheat, take, solitary and transformed into a terrible temper if their desires are not met. On the off chance that the addictive person to person communication site isn't tended to, it will cause different pessimistic effects incorporate manifestations of truancy and wrongdoing and reserved. An excessive amount of mingling on the web will prompt more negative than positive things. Other than upset the communication among people, an excessive amount of mingling on the web additionally prompts different sicknesses and furthermore prompts social seclusion forces. Innovation is wrecking the Quality of Human Interaction Innovation is the part of information that manages the creation and utilization of specialized methods and their interrelation with life, society and the earth, drawing upon such subjects as modern expressions, building, applied science and unadulterated science (Dictionary.com, n.d). It can't be denied that in this century, we live truly relies upon the innovation like portable, PCs, prescription machines, security and so on. The innovation improvement likewise continue expanding step by step and it makes a few people feeling anxious to sit tight for the new innovation, for example, another contraption being discharged. Innovation itself gives us numerous advantages and furthermore joined negative impacts. Gradually Internet and versatile innovation is by all accounts deftly annihilating the weightiness of connections among individuals, disengaging us from our general surroundings and prompting a fast approaching feeling of seclusion in the present society (Melissa, n.d). Today, rather than meeting companions vis-à-vis we rather call, text or text them. It might appear to be more straightforward however we at last wind up observing our companions much less society (Melissa, n.d). The innovation, particularly versatile innovation these days truly gives a major effect on our live. In Malaysia itself, all the residents in this nation have their own cell phone even the children under twelve years of age. As far as anyone knows, the youngsters at that age ought to invest more energy with their folks and companions. We called this circumstance as a device murkiness where individuals truly joined to their contraptions. On the off chance that this circumstance continues occurring in our general public, we ought not be astonished if those kids having issue with their social collaborations with others. There is an article that discussion about how the versatile innovation slaughters the up close and personal collaborations. The author said he was at the University of Missouri-Columbia for a gathering and he saw that pretty much every understudy had a PDA out to peruse instant messages or check phone messages as they strolled around-whether they had companions close by or not (Mark, 2007). That was what occurred in 2007, and we can see that the contraption cloudiness t oday become progressively genuine when the individuals caught up with messaging, Facebooking, twittering, and these cause them to overlook the individuals around them and simultaneously it gradually pulverizing the nature of the human collaboration. In 2010, there is another article talk about how the innovation pulverizes the relational correspondence. The essayist scrutinized that individuals today depend on Facebook, Tumblr, Foursquare and so forth., And most people are associated with the innovation and the web consistently one way another (Sean, 2010). Moreover, there likewise has a page that recorded 10 different ways cell phones are pulverizing our lives and I truly intrigued with one of the manners in which that is social connections? Huh? What right? It doubted us how frequently nowadays we meet gatherings of individuals having espresso with everybody's appearances covered in their telephones, as far as anyone knows they don't had anything to visit about or possibly we are gradually overlooking how to fill life's off-kilter quiets with gracious discussion (news.com.au, 2012). The advancement of the innovation that accelerating these days truly make us stressed due to the conduct of the individuals that truly energized w ith respect to it. Innovation is acceptable, however our kin exacerbate it. This is on the grounds that we don't have the foggiest idea how to utilize it well. Disregard all the contraptions or any innovation we have when we are in a gathering of individuals, give some regard there and afterward we can adjust the human cooperations inside individuals and innovation. Innovation will be valuable when we not how to welcome it. Youngsters will confronted psychological sickness, malady due to such a large number of internet mingling Aside from the absence of relational abilities, The kids are the ones who are defenseless against the issue of social ills. Psychological instability will likewise be looked by a youngster who is a lot of their time on long range informal communication locales. This is expected, they would prefer to get something without inspecting the realities is whether it is right or not. Basic reasoning they would be diminished and they will battle to settle on any choices identifying with the thought. They are not, at this point keen on breaking down an acknowledged truth straight through web crawlers. Therefore, they no longer show the cerebrum to think inside and out which can influence mind work when the condition perseveres. On the off chance that that were done from the beginning periods of high school life, how it will be the point at which they grow up. It influences their every day lives, however how they can be skillful and serious. What is all the more stressing is principally to guardians is their childs truancy willing basically to go to a digital bistro in their home if there is no PC. If insufficient pocket cash, they are eager to take, as long as it can visit digital bistros. PCs, particularly those with access to the web, for instance, is one of the devices for correspondence innovation is regularly touted as valuable for an assortment of purposes, for example, to get, transmit and record the data. However, meanwhile, we likewise feel uncomfortable in light of the fact that the media have additionally become a channel foul material and furthermore have been abused for the reasons unethical and betting. Youngsters who invest a ton of energy stuck to a PC danger of psychological wellness issues, for example, dejection, wretchedness and anxiety(â€Å"The web can be awful for children’s emotional well-being Health News Health Families The Independent,† n.d.). The individuals who go through over four hours every day to see the screen increasingly defenseless against dysfunctional behavior. Results indicated that more wellbeing dangers of long range informal communication destinations and PC games, for example, organizations like Facebook scrutinized for neglecting to have a framework that is progressively successful age checks for new joiners. Kids who invest more energy in the PC, sitting in front of the TV and playing computer games, will in general experience more significant levels of passionate pressure, tension and sadness. In reflect paper composed on 16 may 2014 about â€Å"Spending a lot of time web based causing psychological instability in youngsters government wellbeing counsels warn† said that forlornness, discouragement, nervousness, low confidence and uplifted hostility are a portion of the potential issues looked by kids who may abuse the web. A PHE report says upgrades in childrens prosperity in the course of recent decades had now been diminished and might be backward. The report says the quantity of calls to Child Line about web based tormenting, self-destructive musings and self-hurt have taken off as of late. PHE recommended that guardians ought to be especially stressed over their childs psychological well-being on the off chance that they go through over four hours every day before a screen. Kids who invest more energy in PCs, staring at the TV and playing computer games will in general experience more significant levels of passionate trouble, tension and despondency. This relationship is especially negative among the individuals who participate in significant levels of screen utilize over four hours every day. The proof recommends a portion reaction relationship, where each extra hour of vi

Causes of conflict in romantic relationships

Reasons for struggle in sentimental connections For whatever length of time that individuals have gotten impractically associated with each other, there has been strife inside those connections. A few people contend that contention is awful for the relationship and will at last lead to the death of that relationship. Others contend that the contention is useful for the relationship and will assist it with flourishing. Struggle can be both positive and negative for a relationship. It can both assistance and upset the relationship. Regardless of what stage the relationship is in and whether the relationship is being aided or harmed, struggle is continually occurring in various settings. Strife is likewise brought about by various reasons. These reasons incorporate an absence of relational abilities, low degrees of trust, physical maltreatment, a people previous history seeing someone, and numerous others. Relatively few individuals on the planet can say that they have had a 100% effective sentimental relationship. Taking a gander at the high separation rate in the United States can demonstrate this. Be that as it may, there are those couples that have stayed together for various years. As I am certain that contention had a major influence in cutting off countless associations, I am additionally certain that the effective connections have had a considerable amount of contention and have even been helped by that contention. In this paper, I have built nine recommendations relating strife to specific practices inside sentimental connections. Every one will be characterized, summed up, and bolstered by the accessible research. P1-Women that have been manhandled in the past are bound to stay in an injurious relationship. Sadly, a huge number of ladies are manhandled regularly in the United States. This maltreatment can be physical, verbal, or mental. Ladies, commonly, appear to hold a higher feeling of individual worth when associated with a relationship. From birth, ladies are educated by society to comply with specific desires and meanings of being a female. Growing up, ladies consistently here expressions, for example, Thats not genteel or You ought to be dealt with like a woman. I don't get it's meaning to be a woman? As indicated by most social orders, it implies that ladies are the more fragile sex and are consistently needing a man to deal with them. Men are educated, from birth, being a man. This definition is normally one of strength and control. This is appeared in expressions, for example, I am the man of the house. At the point when a lady is manhandled before in life she is prepared in that temper that ladies are the conventionalists and men are the tyrants. Savagery by men is a significant part of the bigger social progression of sex. (Woods, 1999, p. 481). The maltreatment in these connections for the most part ingrains sentiments of mediocrity, which obliges their cultural gaining from youth. In addition to the fact that this abuses give sentiments of inadequacy sentiments of disgrace which lead to a feeling of commitment to preserve the relationship as well as could be expected. As per an investigation done by K.M.Landenburger (1988), most ladies in these occurrences abandoned themselves before they abandoned their accomplices. On the off chance that abandoning themselves, the obvious end result is that they will in the end consider the to be as a social standard and will anticipate that in future connections, in this manner rehashing the cycle again and again. P2-Women who have had progressively sexual accomplices improve their probability of maltreatment in a sentimental relationship. Once more, in this recommendation, misuse is characterized as physical, verbal, or mental. As in any circumstance, the more introduction that an individual has to a specific component, the more hazard is included relating to that component. For this situation, ladies who have increasingly sexual accomplices are presenting themselves to a more serious hazard factor of getting physically involved with that one that will take part in a type of harsh conduct. With the expanded presentation to various close accomplices, there comes a diminished feeling of control for the ladies engaged with these connections. (Neufeld, McNamara, Ertl, 1999). At the point when an individual loses their feeling of control, they become helpless and defenseless to rate of misuse. As per the Abusive Behavior Inventory, (Shephard and Campbell, 1992 appeared in Neufield, McNamara, Ertl 1999) the case of maltreatment with a high number of accomplices went up significannot ly in all parts of the definition. Anyway it appeared that the most significant level of misuse happened mentally. The ABI likewise showed that 5% of undergrad females had more than seven sexual accomplices in a six-month time frame. This gathering demonstrated the most elevated frequency of maltreatment inside those connections. I can't help suspecting that any individuals who open themselves to a high number, for example, this are going to place themselves in a circumstance where the maltreatment would be normal, to an outside onlooker. P3-High degrees of frailty cause elevated levels of reliance on sentimental connections. Reliance is characterized as the dependence of a person on someone else for the fulfillment of his/her needs. (Attridge, Berscheid, Sprecher, 1998). For this situation, uncertainty can be characterized as social significance an individual will have questions and vulnerabilities about the relationship that he/she is in. Uncertainty is an indication that an individual is inadequate with regards to an apparent need in their life. Uncertainty would then be the partner of reliance as w individual would be inadequate with regards to something along these lines relying upon something different. This is clarified as Theory sees how much an individual is subject to a particular relationship as a capacity, not just of the number and significance of the necessities the relationship as of now fulfills for the individual, yet in addition as an element of the degree to which those requirements can't be fulfilled by elective methods. (Attridge, Berscheid, Sprecher, 1998, p. 33). At the point when a n individual accepts both that a relationship fills explicit requirements and that there are an absence of options in contrast to satisfying those necessities a more noteworthy degree of reliance will happen. Various elements that may prompt weakness incorporate the presence of someone else that the accomplice seems to have an appreciation for, or an apparent absence of enthusiasm from the accomplice. Whatever the reason for the uncertainty, it appears to consistently prompt a further reliance on that relationship. The explanation behind this is a dread of losing the relationship, consequently bringing about a further requirement for the partner to safeguard the relationship. P4-Women are almost certain than men to need a more elevated level of closeness in a sentimental relationship. Closeness in any relationship is significant all together for the relationship to thrive. I accept that the vast majority engaged with sentimental connections feel thusly and want that closeness. Nonetheless, it is my dispute that ladies see that closeness as assuming an a lot greater job than men do. As recently expressed in Proposition 1, people are shown various things sex jobs from the time they are conceived. Ladies should be the overseers of the connections and men should be the tracker and gatherers that are autonomous and dont need to consistently have that closeness. (Feeney, 1999). With respect to closeness in sentimental connections, the accomplice that is bound to start discussion about issues influencing the relationship is bound to be the person who puts more an incentive on closeness. Interestingly, the accomplice who puts less an incentive on closeness is bound to evade these discussions. In an examination done by Judith Feeney, 37 out of 72 couples that were met uncovered that there was a distinction of conclusion when it went to the issues of closeness and separation. This doesnt fundamentally show that these ladies felt that the closeness factor was a higher priority than the men. As one man met expressed: She didnt appear to truly need me to a very remarkable piece of her life. Hence, in light of the fact that I despise being ignored, I would in general respond by disregarding her. Like I was attempting to discover blames inside her so I could cause myself to feel better. I was continually attempting to discover deficiencies with her. (cf. Feeney, 1999). This man plainly felt that closeness was more critical to the relationship than his female partner. In spite of this keeps an eye visible on closeness, 26 out of the 37 that detailed various thoughts regarding closeness and separation, said that the female in the relationship held a higher perspective on significance on closeness than the man did in their sentimental relationship. P5-People with an elevated level of doubt in their accomplices emotions towards them, are bound to have unsteady sentimental connections. All connections should be founded on trust on the off chance that they will succeed. On the off chance that you dont trust the accomplice you are with or the other way around, at that point that relationship will never have the solid establishment that connections need so as to succeed. Doubt in an accomplices sentiments will frame an enthusiastic hindrance between the two members that are associated with one another. This hindrance will in the long run become the primary focal point of the relationship along these lines ending all chances to concentrate on different parts of that relationship. (Simpson, Grich, Ickes, 1999). For instance, if a man questions his significannot other, he may consistently inquire as to whether she is upbeat, or on the off chance that anything is troubling her. She generally says that she is cheerful and nothing isn't right, yet she doesnt comprehend why he continues inquiring. This inevitably turns out to be in excess of an inconvenience to her and she at long last beginnings advising him to quit inquiring. The man at that point believes that she is distraught and has further doubt in her emotions. This entire situation shows how the center movements from the relationship to his consistent doubt in her emotions. P6-People with low confidence are bound to encounter sentiments of envy in sentimental connections. Envy is one of the most remarkable and perilous sentiments when managing struggle inside sentimental connections. (Guerrero, 1998). Desire can cause sorrow, doubt, and/or outrage, which are all extremely destructive to connections. At the point when one individual in a

Lord of the Flies Analysis of Chapter 1

Master of the Flies investigation of section 1 The initial character is significant and compelling in light of the fact that it lays the right foundation for that character, and their circumstance. You can nearly anticipate what that character will resemble in the remainder of the book by the couple of sentences that the writer gives you. The initial character is additionally a fundamental snippet of data, since it will make the peruser need to peruse on. The principal character that was presented was Ralph. We can foresee that he will get significant in the remainder of the book since he is the first on the island, and he takes off his garments, which is the principal image of rebellion.Ralph is presented as being ‘the kid with reasonable hair' (pg 7). One of the main things Ralph does is pull up his sock which represents the possibility that Ralph is as yet acculturated and acts like he is still in a refined society. Ralphs father was in the military, and made it a point to s tate that his dad was going to protect them. When Ralph was chosen as boss, it was on the grounds that he was most seasoned, and was said to have the physical make-up of a fighter ‘he may make a fighter, to the extent width and weight of shoulders went, however there was a mellowness about his mouth and eyes that broadcasted no devil’ (pg 10).Piggy was a greater amount of a satisfactory boss since he was the primary romantic who recognized the conch, and the person who did the vast majority of the work. Piggy was additionally the democrat of the young men, he thoroughly considered things, he was equivalent, discerning, and had a mentality of being saved, and not having any desire to be stuck on the island. Ralph is thrilled that there are no adults on the island, however Piggy can imagine the outcomes of the pilots demise, and the way that no one was a full grown-up, and they couldn’t make develop decisions.Piggy was not chosen boss due to his look and most likel y due to his name. ‘he was shorter than the reasonable kid and very fat’ (pg 7). Close to be presented is Jack and his ensemble young men. They are presented as outsiders or beastie that shows up later on in the book. ‘something dim was bumbling along†¦.. At that point the animal ventured from the mirage’ (pg 19). This sends a ghostly inclination to the perusers. Later on in the section it discusses them ‘stepped from the hallucination on to clear sand, and they saw that the dimness was†¦Ã¢â‚¬ ¦mostly clothing’ (pg 19).The young men were in ‘two equal lines’ (pg 19) and wearing dark shrouds that secured them from throat to lower leg that was enhanced with a long silver cross, and a square dark top with a silver identification. Their pioneer is a kid named Jack. Jack was ‘tall, meager, and bony’ (pg 20) with red hair that was covered up to some degree by the square dark top, and his face ‘was folded and freckled, and appalling without silliness†¦two light blue eyes’ (pg 20). Jack is very force hungry, and pompously accept that he would be the head of the young men since he was the ‘head boy’ (pg 22) of the ensemble, and in light of the fact that he could ‘sing C sharp’ (pg 22).Jack is very disturbed to see that Ralph was casted a ballot as head of the young men ‘ the spots on Jack’s face vanished under a redden of mortification’ (pg 23). Ralph put the ensemble young men under Jacks force, and in this manner started Jack and Ralphs kinship ‘Jack and Ralph grinned at one another with bashful liking’ (pg 23). At the point when the young men show up on the uninhabited island, they wind up encompassed by lovely bushes, trees, and sea shores. They before long find that they are the main people on the island, and there are no grown-ups on the island. ‘no grownups’ (Pg 8).This shows Ralphs adolescence, and his energy for opportunity. In any case, when Ralph is casted a ballot boss, he realizes that he needs to assemble himself, and consider what they have to endure, and be safeguarded. The young men (Jack, Ralph, and Simon) investigate the island to see whether the spot they are in will be in certainty an island. They start to have a ton of fun, and have a ball while their feeling of needing to be protected is dispersing. Since the time the start of the book, the young men have appeared to pulverize the heaven of an island by the ‘long scar crushed into the jungle’ (pg 7) and they will no doubt decimate it again. The island that Golding is attempting to imagine isn't as it appears as he utilizes damaging symbolism like ‘decaying coconuts’ (pg 12), ‘coarse grass’ (pg 12), and ‘typhoon’ (pg 12). Golding utilizes a ton of images to exhibit subjects, for example, companionship, connections, and savagery all through section one. The island is introduced as a Garden of Eden. It has the entirety of the vital things to endure, for example, new water, natural product, conceal, trees to make sanctuary, and wood to make fire. The connections between the young men are confounded during the start of the chapter. In the primary part the young men for the most part need to be companions, yet the connection among Piggy and Jack is moment scorn which proposes that later on in the book Jack will presumably turn on Piggy first. Jack is introduced as a savage individual in any event, when Ralph and Jack initially meet ‘frustrated now and turning, or prepared to turn, into anger’ (pg 20). At the point when Jack fizzles at killing the pig, he hammers his blade into a tree, and says that ‘next time there will be no mercy’ (pg 31). I think Golding decided to abandon the young men on an island on the grounds that there are no adults. There are no principles, no limits to what they were permitted to do, no directi on, no development, no general public. Golding presents the island ‘roughly vessel shaped’ (pg 31). I figure he did this to speak to the young men going into a condition of viciousness, and the young men progress going in reverse. I likewise think he said this to speak to the young men diminished odds of being safeguarded. The pontoon that they ought to be safeguarded in is gradually drifting more remote and more distant away. I accept that the primary section of any book gives understanding to what will occur in the remainder of the book. The part one title ‘The Sound of the Shell’ foretells the way that the conch is the main grown-up figure in the book, the way that the sound of the conch gives everyone a feeling of request and consistency. A portion of the subjects that show up in section one, are frequently found in our regular day to day existences and it gives the peruser an impression about what will occur in the remainder of the book. Subsequent to c ompleting section one, I am left with the feeling of foreseeing what will befall the young men, and in the event that they will be safeguarded.

A Drilling Engineer is responsible for mechanical input to another employee that works with him known as a Tool Pusher and he has to communicate with the operator concerning Drilling engineering. A Drilling Engineer depends from company to company. Some companies have Drilling Engineers working on fields and some companies have them working on offices. Those working on fields are there due to the contract given to the company by the clients and the drilling engineers need to be there to make sure every single thing goes smoothly as how the client wants it. Anytime and anyplace, it is important for a drilling engineer to do whatever the supervisor says as long as it is safe to do it. The company didnà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢t provide person specifications in the job description attached. In this certain job, there are specificati ons on which people should have before applying for a job. These specifications are commonly known as person specifications. The company needs a person to be confident, creative and reliable, able to solve problem and cooperative with others. Suitable candidates who can fit to this job are the confident ones. Being confident is important since when drilling, a person has to be sure that what he is doing is right and people are going to respect that person for that just because of the confidence he puts in his/her job. For instance, a drilling engineer isnà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢t sure of what he is doing and at the end he canà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢t do the job. This means that he lost several years studying getting that job and at the end he canà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢t do his/her work efficiently and other people do his/her work meanwhile he gets paid for nothing and delays the production of that certain company. Creative and reliable. A drilling engineer has to have the ability to be creativ e in his work. Drilling doesnà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢t work one way but also it needs creativity in bringing new ideas and methods used to drill. This new method might be much easier and cheaper so it will not cost the company much money in its production. This drilling engineer has to be reliable at all times since at any time he is to be called by the supervisor so as for him to work at a certain job. Reliability makes the production much efficient since the drilling engineer is available at all times. Solving problems. Working in fields, there is always a problem taking place especially when they are drilling. As for a drilling engineer, he has to have the ability to solve problems concerning his area and also concerning areas that are almost related to his incase of any emergency. Cooperative with others. A drilling engineer has to have good communication skills that leads to having a good relationship between him and the supervisor and also between him and the operator. They ne ed to cooperate with each other so as for the job they have to do goes smoothly. According to Al Khaifi, I, from an interview, the companyà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s structure and department details is really unorganized since it chances every single time they recruit a new employee in the company, especially the senior employees and the others with high posts in the company. The company is run by the C.E.O. Below the C.E.O there are different general managers and QHSE managers that report directly to him. These general managers are: General Manager in Business, General Manager of Operations, General Manager of Finance and General Manager of Human Resources. Under each general managers and QHSE Managers, there are other departments that report to them. Under QHSE Manager, there is HSE Assistant Manager (well service), Quality manager, HSE Manager (Drilling). HSE Assistant Manager has three Senior HSE under him and they all handle three units each. Quality Manager has two department un der him which are two Senior Quality. HSE Manager has six senior HSE in which each handles three units. In General Manager of Operations, a Drilling manager is under him and he gets his reports from two Drilling operation Managers. There are at least four Drilling supervisors who are under each Drilling operation Managers that controls two units each. In General Manager of Human Resources, there are Human Resource Manager and Training Manager under him. Human Resource Assistant Managers report directly to the Human Resource Manager. Other department always change, some other report directly to the C.E.O even though their department is low and others report to whoever they are told to report to at that time meaning they have no specific person to report to. The company needs to figure out a way to make their structure and department details organized so as for people to know who reports to who and who is under who. Abraj Energy Services has very high expectations in the future sin ce they are wells based type of services, their vision is to increase and bring up all sorts of well engineering services to develop the company. Service, A.E (n.d), à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã…“To be a Company of excellence providing regional and international Well Engineering Design Consultancy, Well Construction Well Services; devoting all efforts to ensure safe, incident-free operations and customer satisfaction, by utilizing talented and motivated staff, highly experienced manpower, finest equipment and innovative technology.à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã‚ This company also has a mission of ensuring safe provision of well engineering services. Service, A.E (n.d), à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã…“To provide a safe, efficient and effective Well Engineering Services guided by prudents international business principles in a professional and customer-focused manner, pledging to deliver sustainable growth and social prosperity.à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã‚ According to Al Khaifi, I, from an interview, the selection process is easy in t his company, a person is to provide the Human Resource department with his CV and he will be given a medical paper for him to do his medical tests. After passing the medical test, he will be called for an interview after the interview, he will attend a certain course of two weeks. If he passes the course, this is when he is called in the offices for the discussion of the salary and job description. Although the company is developing fast, it needs to consider the ways that they operate their work and organize their department details and structures well. The recruitment method they use is quite good since a person has to pass the course given so as to be recruited. They make sure that the person they are recruiting knows what his job is in the company and he wonà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢t bring any loss to the company. The person specifications are fair enough since as a drilling engineer, a person needs to have all the specifications there. Their vision and mission statement are interes ting since they are determined in the development of the company. TASK 2. An auditor is an employee in a company recruited for the purpose of controlling accounting records and checking the balance sheets of the company from the junior auditors that are under him/her. A senior auditor is the head of all other auditors in the organization. The following are the skills needed by a senior auditor: A senior auditor has to know how to deal in a team. Team work is a very essential factor in this field of work since when working, a person needs to consult with other senior auditors and get feed backs on what the situation is so far. Knowing how to communicate with people leads to having more customers and good relationship with stockholders in general. Smooth talking provides a person with trust of with he/she is going to deal with that person for a while since he/she has communication skills which not only brings out results at work, but also socially outside work places. N egotiation skills in a senior auditor is needed. Since a senior auditor deals with accounting records, he/she has to have the negotiation skills to convince clients and his/her employees in wanting to do something for the company that would help it. A senior auditor has to have knowledge in using a computer. Due to technology upraise, most records are kept computerized so a senior auditor needs to have the knowledge of how to input records and know what program to use. In general, he/she needs to be updated in terms of technology. Honesty. A senior auditor has to be honest since he/she holds all the accounting records of the company and if one of the records goes missing, he/she has to report it and not be kept quiet so as to resolve the problem. TASK 3. It is true that all that matters for a computer programmer is his/her technical knowledge of computer and programming but it also is true that he/she should have more skills than only that. Employability, personal and co mmunication skills all have to come with his knowledge of computer programming. A computer programmer with computer and programming knowledge can work in any company but most probably wonà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢t be able to cope with other employees if he/she has no personal or communication skills. It is way too costly for a company to hire a person without the skills required for the job. This happens when the employee canà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢t do a job required very well and end up making mistakes at the end. The job he/she does requires great skills to the company since he/she is the only one there to do it and when the company hires a person without the skills needed, he/she ends up making the company bankrupt. The loss of that money due to the employeeà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s mistakes can lead to the companyà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s fall and the loss of their clients too. Holmes, R (July 16, 2013), à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã…“One subpar employee can throw an entire department into disarray. Team members e nd up investing their own time into training someone who has no future with the company.à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã‚ A company should ensure that the recruited staffs are well skilled so as for the company to not go bankrupt due to faults happening in the production of goods. Conflicts between co-workers and customers. Having no required skills for a job leads to having misunderstandings between each other and sometimes with customers. For instance, a person with no skills doing a certain job. He/she will be required to do a very good job at the end and meet a deadline given to him. But instead he/she will not be able to do as instructed because he has no such skills. In results, the job done might be unfinished in the deadline given and also it will have a lot of errors. Due to these mistakes, the fellow employees will have to correct the mistakes and end up doing his/ her job. This will go on more than once and at the end, the fellow employees will be fed up and start an argument and having misunderstandings that he/ she isnà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢t doing his/ her work in a correct way he/ she isnà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢t serious in doing work. Sometimes a client provides a deadline and the person canà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢t make it. The company is the one that will be in trouble since they are the ones who are dealing with the client. After happening several times, the client will change his/ her contract and deal with another company and the company will lose a customer. Losing a customer is a very big deal since that customer is likely to spread the information of what has happened to him/her and the people who heard about that wouldnà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢t want to deal with that company due to that one person with no skills that ruined a companyà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s reputation. Customer relation plays a very large role in conducting business because when an employee has a good relationship with the customer, it is difficult for the customer to change his/her choice of getting his/her products elsewhere and also brings more customers due to the information given out by the other customer. Impact on employeeà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s morale. As the employee does a lot of mistakes in doing his/her work, other employees wonà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢t be motivated in working harder since they see that all they do is correcting mistakes of what the other employee did because he/she has no skills on doing it. The fellow employee loses interest in working in one project with him/her because he/she will only pull the employee down and fail to cooperative with what he/she wants to achieve at the end. This can lead to the other employee resigning from that company due to that certain person who has no skills in doing his/her job. Motivation is important because an employee needs to get the vision that he/she has to become a better person in the future but with the presence of the unskilled employee pulling him/her down by doing all the work for him/her, he/she will never get motivate d since he/she wonà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢t be doing something useful rather than doing someone elseà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s work. Low productivity. In doing business, there is always the production process of either goods or services. When this employee is responsible for the production in the business, the production will always be late since his/her skills are too low. The production deadline wonà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢t be met and clients wonà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢t get there goods or services on time. Sometimes these production of goods or services go wrong. For instance, an employee recruited in the provision of services in a barber shop, due to not having skills in shaving a person he/she will ruin the customerà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s hair in a way that the customer wonà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢t return and shave in that barber shop. Low production leads to less products and less products leads to less demand from the customers in which the business will lose its market. Time and money consumption. A com pany loses money and also wastes time when recruiting a new employee. After recruiting it turns out that the person they recruited doesnà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢t fit for the job because he/she has no skills for that certain part of the work place. A company should consider getting recruitment agencies that can help them in recruiting new employees. Half, R (n.d), à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã…“Hiring new employees is time consuming and expensive. These costs increase if you make a hiring mistake. Skilled and professional recruitment agencies can save you time and money in the long run. They can also increase your chances of getting the right employee on the first try.à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã‚ A company should be more careful in recruiting process since the wastage of time and money can also be used in other activities than getting lost in recruiting the wrong person for the job. The Autobiography of an L.A. Gang Member by Sanyika Shakur...

This book Monster: the Autobiography of an L.A. Gang Member by Sanyika Shakur aka Kody Scott depicts all of the events that Kody went through from the day he joined a gang up until when he decides to leave the gang, and his life after the gang. He joined the Eight Tray Crips when he was only eleven years old. He gets initiated into the gang after his sixth grade graduation, and he describes his initiation as an even bigger right of passage into society than his own graduation. The reasons that Kody suggests that he had joined a gang has to do a lot with the whole concept of belonging. He makes it sound like his family life was not a very good one, and that in school he felt as if he had no power because he hints at being bullied as a†¦show more content†¦In this story Kody’s actions are learned first through the observations of others in his neighborhood or school. People all around him at the time were deciding to join gangs; it was the thing to do. During his initia tion he observed what the others did when it was his turn to shoot at the people in the streets, and after he shot and potentially killed them he was praised and rewarded with officially being a member of the gang. After that night his gang members positively reinforced him anytime he killed or hurt anyone from the enemy gangs, at times even civilians. Even while his mother was disapproving and there was a potential for severe punishment from the police, the positive reinforcement from his friends was more powerful because of his level of respect and admiration for them. An aspect of this theory that Albert Bandura claims teaches people violence is behavioral modeling, which states that people learn how to act by modeling what they have seen others do. This is shown throughout the book because Kody ends up joining a gang, like many others that he knows have done, and he goes along with what other people in the gang are doing and saying. He grows up around his gang members and fashio ns his behaviors to be similar to the ones that he looks up to, and this behavior is repeated with his younger brother, who idolizes Kody, when he joins

Should Prostitution Be A Victimless Crime - 1506 Words

The act of prostitution has been a leading topic of moral and legislative debate for centuries. Sometimes referred to as the ‘world’s oldest profession’ because it dates back to around 2400 B.C., prostitution is the practice of exchanging, selling or trading of sexual acts for payment. Extremists have gone so far as to claim that prostitution is â€Å"indistinguishable† from sex trafficking. It is easy to see where the confusion s tems from but prostitution and sex trafficking are two entirely different things. Prostitution is sex in return for compensation of some form while sex trafficking is the purchase, the sale and the transfer of a human for commercial sex and is often considered to be a modern day form of slavery (ProCon.org). The Prostitutes’ Education Network stated in its article â€Å"Prostitution Act of 1996†, that prostitution is merely a service like every other in which people are selling and exchanging their skills and talents for money.Show MoreRelatedConsent Is A Vital Part Of Human Socialization1593 Words   |  7 Pageswatch. Sir Muhammad Iqbal, also known as Allama Iqbal, was a philosopher, poet and politician in British India who is widely regarded to have inspired the Pakistan Movement. He is considered one of the most important figures in Urdu literature, with literary work in both the Urdu and Persian languages. Iqbal is admired as a prominent classical poet by Pakistani, Indian and other international scholars of literature. Although most well known as a poet, he has also been acclaimed as a modern Muslim philosopher. His first poetry book, Asrar-e-Khudi, appeared in the Persian language in 1915, and other books of poetry include Rumuz-i-Bekhudi, Payam-i-Mashriq and Zabur-i-Ajam. Some of his most well known Urdu works are Bang-i-Dara, Bal-i-Jibril and Zarb-i Kalim. Along with his Urdu and Persian poetry, his various Urdu and English lectures and letters have been very influential in cultural, social, religious and political disputes over the years. He is also called Muffakir-e-Pakistan The Inceptor of Pakistan, and Hakeem-ul-Ummat The Sage of the Ummah. Pakistan has officially recognised him as its national poet. In Iran and Afghanistan he is famous as Iqbal-e Lahori (Iqbal of Lahore), and he is most appreciated for his Persian work. His birthday is celebrated on November 9. Biography Iqbal was born in Sialkot, within the Punjab Province of British India (now in Pakistan). Iqbal ancestors were kashmiri Pandits, the Brahmins from Kashmir who converted to Islam. Iqbals father, Shaikh Noor Mohammad, was a tailor, not formally educated but a religious man. Iqbals mother Imam Bibi was a polite and humble woman who helped the poor and solved the problems of neighbours. Iqbal loved his mother, and on her death he expressed his feelings of pathos in a poetic form elegy. Who would wait for me anxiously in my native place? Who would display restlessness if my letter fails to arrive? I will visit thy grave with this complaint: Who will now think of me in midnight prayers? All thy life thy love served me with devotion— When I became fit to serve thee, thou hast departed. When Iqbal was four years old, he was sent to the mosque to learn the Quran. Later, Syed Mir Hassan, the head of the Madrassa in Sialkot, became his teacher. Iqbal received the Faculty of Arts diploma from Scotch Mission College in 1895, where his teacher Hassan was the professor of Arabic. In the same year Iqbal married Karim Bibi, the daughter of a Gujrati physician Khan Bahadur Ata Muhammad Khan, through a first arranged marriage. They had daughter Miraj Begum and son Aftab Iqbal. Later Iqbals second marriage was with Sardar Begum mother of Javid Iqbal and third marriage with Mukhtar Begum in December 1914. During first marriage at the same time, Iqbal also began to study philosophy, English literature and Arabic in Lahores Government college. He graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Higher Education in Europe Iqbal was close to Sir Thomas Arnold, an philosophy teacher at the college. Iqbal was influenced by Arnolds teachings and so traveled to Europe for his higher education. Iqbal qualified for a scholarship from Trinity College in Cambrige in 1907, and was called to the bar as a barrister from Lincolns Inn in 1908. During his study in Europe, Iqbal began to write poetry in Persian. He prioritized it because he believed he had found an easy way to express his thoughts. He would write continuously in Persian throughout his life. He continued with his PhD degree, receiving admission to the Faculty of Philosophy of the Ludwig Maximilian University in 1907 at Munich. Working under the guidance of Friedrich Hommel, Iqbal published his doctoral thesis in 1908 entitled: The Development of Metaphysics in Persia. Academic Career Iqbal took up an assistant professorship at Government College, Lahore, when he returned to India, but for financial reasons he relinquished it within a year to practice law. While maintaining his legal practice, Iqbal began concentrating on spiritual and religious subjects, and publishing poetry and literary works. He became active in the Anjuman-e-Himayat-e-Islam, a congress of Muslim intellectuals, writers and poets as well as politicians. In 1919, he became the general secretary of the organisation. Iqbals thoughts in his work primarily focus on the spiritual direction and development of human society, centred around experiences from his travels and stays in Western Europe and the Middle East. The poetry and philosophy of Mawlana Rumi bore the deepest influence on Iqbals mind. Deeply grounded in religion since childhood, Iqbal began intensely concentrating on the study of Islam, the culture and history of Islamic civilization and its political future, while embracing Rumi as his guide. Iqbal would feature Rumi in the role of guide in many of his poems. Iqbals works focus on reminding his readers of the past glories of Islamic civilization, and delivering the message of a pure, spiritual focus on Islam as a source for socio-political liberation and greatness. Iqbal denounced political divisions within and amongst Muslim nations, and frequently alluded to and spoke in terms of the global Muslim community, or the Ummah. Allama Iqbals poetry has also been translated into several European languages where his works were famous during the early part of the 20th century. Iqbal’s Asrar-i-Khudi and Javed Nama were translated into English by R A Nicholson and A J Arberry respectively. Political Life While dividing his time between law and poetry, Iqbal had remained active in the Muslim League. He did not support Indian involvement in World War I, as well as the Khilafat movement and remained in close touch with Muslim political leaders such as Maulana Mohammad Ali and Muhammad Ali Jinnah. He was a critic of the mainstream Indian National Congress, which he regarded as dominated by Hindus and was disappointed with the League when during the 1920s, it was absorbed in factional divides between the pro-British group led by Sir Muhammad Shafi and the centrist group led by Jinnah. In November 1926, with the encouragement of friends and supporters, Iqbal contested for a seat in the Punjab Legislative Assembly from the Muslim district of Lahore, and defeated his opponent by a margin of 3,177 votes. He supported the constitutional proposals presented by Jinnah with the aim of guaranteeing Muslim political rights and influence in a coalition with the Congress, and worked with the Aga Khan and other Muslim leaders to mend the factional divisions and achieve unity in the Muslim League. Literary Works Persian Iqbals poetic works are written primarily in Persian rather than Urdu. Among his 12,000 verses of poetry, about 7,000 verses are in Persian. In 1915, he published his first collection of poetry, the Asrar-e-Khudi (Secrets of the Self) in Persian. The poems emphasise the spirit and self from a religious, spiritual perspective. Many critics have called this Iqbals finest poetic work In Asrar-e-Khudi, Iqbal explains his philosophy of Khudi, or Self. Iqbals use of the term Khudi is synonymous with the word Rooh mentioned in the Quran. Rooh is that divine spark which is present in every human being, and was present in Adam, for which God ordered all of the angels to prostrate in front of Adam. One has to make a great journey of transformation to realize that divine spark which Iqbal calls Khudi. Iqbal condemns self-destruction. For him, the aim of life is self-realization and self-knowledge. He charts the stages through which the Self has to pass before finally arriving at its point of perfection, enabling the knower of the Self to become a viceregent of God. In his Rumuz-e-Bekhudi, Iqbal seeks to prove the Islamic way of life is the best code of conduct for a nations viability. A person must keep his individual characteristics intact, but once this is achieved he should sacrifice his personal ambitions for the needs of the nation. Man cannot realise the Self outside of society. Also in Persian and published in 1917, this group of poems has as its main themes the ideal community, Islamic ethical and social principles, and the relationship between the individual and society. Although he is true throughout to Islam, Iqbal also recognises the positive analogous aspects of other religions. The Rumuz-e-Bekhudi complements the emphasis on the self in the Asrar-e-Khudi and the two collections are often put in the same volume under the title Asrar-e-Rumuz (Hinting Secrets). It is addressed to the worlds Muslims. Iqbals 1924 publication, the Payam-e-Mashriq (The Message of the East) is closely connected to the West-ostlicher Diwan by the famous German poet Goethe. Goethe bemoans the West having become too materialistic in outlook, and expects the East will provide a message of hope to resuscitate spiritual values. In his first visit to Afghanistan, he presented his book Payam-e Mashreq to King Amanullah Khan in which he admired the liberal movements of Afghanistan against the British Empire. In 1933, he was officially invited to Afghanistan to join the meetings regarding the establishment of Kabul University. The Zabur-e-Ajam (Persian Psalms), published in 1927, includes the poems Gulshan-e-Raz-e-Jadeed and Bandagi Nama. In Gulshan-e-Raz-e-Jadeed, Iqbal first poses questions, then answers them with the help of ancient and modern insight, showing how it affects and concerns the world of action. Iqbals 1932 work, the Javed Nama (Book of Javed) is named after and in a manner addressed to his son, who is featured in the poems. It follows the examples of the works of Ibn Arabi and Dantes The Divine Comedy, through mystical and exaggerated depictions across time. Iqbal depicts himself as Zinda Rud (A stream full of life) guided by Rumi, the master, through various heavens and spheres, and has the honour of approaching divinity and coming in contact with divine illuminations. In a passage re-living a historical period, Iqbal condemns the Muslim who were instrumental in the defeat and death of Nawab Siraj-ud-Daula of Bengal and Tipu Sultan of Mysore respectively by betraying them for the benefit of the British colonists, and thus delivering their country to the shackles of slavery. At the end, by addressing his son Javid, he speaks to the young people at large, and provides guidance to the new generation. His love of the Persian language is evident in his works and poetry. He says in one of his poems: Even though in sweetness Urdu is sugar (but) speech method in Dari (Persian) is sweeter Urdu Iqbals first work published in Urdu, the Bang-e-Dara (The Call of the Marching Bell) of 1924, was a collection of poetry written by him in three distinct phases of his life. The poems he wrote up to 1905, the year Iqbal left for England imbibe patriotism and imagery of landscape, and includes the Tarana-e-Hind (The Song of India), popularly known as Saare Jahan Se Achcha and another poem Tarana-e-Milli . The second set of poems date from between 1905 and 1908 when Iqbal studied in Europe and dwell upon the nature of European society, which he emphasized had lost spiritual and religious values. This inspired Iqbal to write poems on the historical and cultural heritage of Islamic culture and Muslim people, not from an Indian but a global perspective. Iqbal urges the global community of Muslims, addressed as the Ummah to define personal, social and political existence by the values and teachings of Islam. Iqbal preferred to work mainly in Persian for a predominant period of his career, but after 1930, his works were mainly in Urdu. The works of this period were often specifically directed at the Muslim masses of India, with an even stronger emphasis on Islam, and Muslim spiritual and political reawakening. Published in 1935, the Bal-e-Jibril (Wings of Gabriel) is considered by many critics as the finest of Iqbals Urdu poetry, and was inspired by his visit to Spain, where he visited the monuments and legacy of the kingdom of the Moors. It consists of ghazals, poems, quatrains, epigrams and carries a strong sense religious passion. The Pas Cheh Bayed Kard ai Aqwam-e-Sharq (What are we to do, O Nations of the East? ) includes the poem Musafir . Again, Iqbal depicts Rumi as a character and an exposition of the mysteries of Islamic laws and Sufi perceptions is given. Iqbal laments the dissension and disunity among the Indian Muslims as well as Muslim nations. Musafir is an account of one of Iqbals journeys to Afghanistan, in which the Pashtun people are counseled to learn the secret of Islam and to build up the self within themselves. Iqbals final work was the Armughan-e-Hijaz (The Gift of Hijaz), published posthumously in 1938. The first part contains quatrains in Persian, and the second part contains some poems and epigrams in Urdu. The Persian quatrains convey the impression as though the poet is travelling through the Hijaz in his imagination. Profundity of ideas and intensity of passion are the salient features of these short poems. Iqbals vision of mystical experience is clear in one of his Urdu ghazals which was written in London during his days of studing there. Some verses of that ghazal are: At last the silent tongue of Hijaz has announced to the ardent ear the tiding That the covenant which had been given to the desert-dwelles is going to be renewed vigorously: The lion who had emerged from the desert and had toppled the Roman Empire is As I am told by the angels, about to get up again (from his slumbers. ) You the dwelles of the West, should know that the world of God is not a shop (of yours). Your imagined pure gold is about to lose it standard value (as fixed by you). Your civilization will commit suicide with its own daggers. English Iqbal also wrote two books on the topic of The Development of Metaphysics in Persia and The Reconstruction of Religious Thought in Islam and many letters in English language, beside of Urdu and Persian literary works. In which, he discussed about the Persian ideology and Islamic sufism in the way of his view that real Islamic sufism activates the awkward soul to superior idea of life. He also discussed philosophy, God and the meaning of prayer, human spirit and Muslim culture, political, social and religious problems. Iqbal was invited to Cambridge to participate in the conference in 1931, where he expressed his inspired vision to students and other audience. I would like to offer a few pieces of advice to the youngmen who are at present studying at Cambridge I advise you to guard against atheism and materialism. The biggest blunder made by Europe was the separation of Church and State. This deprived their culture of moral soul and diverted it to the atheistic materialism. I had twenty-five years ago seen through the drawbacks of this civilization and therefore had made some prophecies. They had been delivered by my tongue although I did not quite understand them. This happened in 1907.. After six or seven years, my prophecies came true, word by word. The European war of 1914 was an outcome of the aforesaid mistakes made by the European nations in the separation of the Church and the State. Final Years and Death In 1933, after returning from a trip to Spain and Afghanistan, Iqbal began suffering from a mysterious throat illness. He spent his final years helping Chaudhry Niaz Ali Khan establish the Dar ul Islam Trust Institute at the latters Jamalpur estate near Pathankot, an institution where studies in classical Islam and contemporary social science would be subsidised, and advocating the demand for an independent Muslim state. Iqbal ceased practising law in 1934 and he was granted pension by the Nawab of Bhopal. In his final years he frequently visited the Dargah of famous Sufi Hazrat Ali Hujwiri in Lahore for spiritual guidance. After suffering for months from his illness, Iqbal died in Lahore on 21 April 1938. His tomb is located in Hazuri Bagh, the enclosed garden between the entrance of the Badshahi Mosque and the Lahore Fort, and official guards are maintained there by the Government of Pakistan. Iqbal is commemorated widely in Pakistan, where he is regarded as the ideological founder of the state.
